Today's work was on the photo of the day.

Moving computers around. Replacing the dead iMac11 with the Macmini Server 4. That lets me have a working computer with the lastest MacOS at each house.

The Salinas Airport history goes back before WWII when local businessmen raised money to buy land and worked to build the first airport. During WWII it because the Salinas Army Airfield. After the war United Airlines wanted to provide service to Salinas and local businesses again raised money to expand the runways and make improvements. At that time, Salinas was one of the richest cities in California, benefiting from regrigerated frieght of the lettuce crops, as Stienbeck told in East of Eaden. There's no commercial passenger services today but the airport is still active and hosts the Salinas Airshow every year.
