I'm experimenting with style sheet changes. Today I store all my web site's style information in a style sheet: http://www.rudyrugebregt.com/rudyrugebregt.css.
body
{
background-color: #ccc;
background-image: url(none);
margin-left: 5%;
margin-right: 5%;
font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, geneva, sans-serif;
font-size: 10pt;
}
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {color:#060;}
h1 {font-size: 18pt;}
h2 {font-size: 14pt;}
h3 {font-size: 12pt;}
h4 {font-size: 11pt;}
h5 {font-size: 11pt;}
h6 {font-size: 11pt;}
p {}
pre{font-family: monaco, courier; font-size: 8pt;}
The body background color is gray. The right and left sides of the page has a 5% margin. I would like to show the text in Verdana. If not Verdana, try Arial, Helvetica, Geneva and finally some sans-serif font. Make the text 10 point high.
I changed the headings to Green and specified their sizes.
I don't have any specifications for standard paragraphs but I don specify fonts for pre-formatted text.
