We got some complimentary tickets from Adam and caught the shuttle to the Pebble Beach course. Quite an event. It was a beautiful day and we paced ourselves. We had a good time.
We aren't golfers and don't go to the main events held on the peninsula. We both admire the skill and talent of professional golfers and it's fun to see them go by but the crowds and crowd control of the AT&T have put us off. Some years I'll buy practice round tickets just to walk the courses but we don't keep up with the game.
I didn't buy tickets this year and we were going to pass but we got some complimentary sponsor tickets and got out to the Pebble Beach course. It's been a beautiful week and was in the 70's by noon. The crowds weren't too bad but there is more security in place - bags checked, frisking and wanding - as bad as flying today. That's the world we've accepted today. I'll pass next year.
