I took a bike ride out the the commerical warf to see how the fishing season is coming along. The warf was busy offloading boats, filling trucks and making ice to haul fresh fish in from the ocean and out to the processing plants. The boats have to line up to offload their catch and get fresh ice for their next catch.

These boats are Purse Seine fishing boats. The main boat puts out a large net and the smaller boat positions it around the school of squid. As the fishermen pull in the net the squid are loaded into the hold and put on ice.
