How I spent all day yesterday...

iMac 11,1 Rebuild

Don't use the High Sierra upgrade on the iMac11,1 SamsungSSD
	APFS will be installed and that will make the mac unhappy
		Video Scramble
		Failure to boot
		Failure to recognize diagnostic keys
		
Formatted Samsung internal SSD as Mac HFS+
	Use target mode to attach from another mac (boot while holding T key)
	Remove containers, partitions and other schemes
	Erase disk, formatting as HFS+ (NOT APFS)
	Run First Aid
	Check it again

Reset SMC and PRAM
	Power off and unplug for 15 seconds
	Plug in and wait 5 seconds
	Power on holding down Command+Option+P+R keys
	Allow mac to boot to chime, reboot to second chime
	
Install High Sierra, MacOS 10.11
	Put iMac in Target Disk mode (hold down T key)
	Check the drive again, first Aid
	Copy installation image to iMac11-SSD
	Run installer from host Mac onto iMac11-SSD
	Let installer work, reboot as it needs
	Respond to prompts to create working environment on iMac11-SSD
	Create a user account (not Apple ID)
	Shut down
	
Boot from iMac11-SSD
	Boot and let installer do any final setups
	System Preferences
		Startup Disk: iMac-11
		Mouse: Speed it up
		Sharing: Screen and File sharing on
		iCloud: Log in and allow iCloud to connect and do it's thing

External Applications
	OneDrive: Install and allow selective sync to test functionality
	BBEdit: Install
	MS Office: Log into site, download and Install
	App Store:
